On Monday, 9th August 1982 the building officially named Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim by His Royal Highness Sultan Iskandar Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ismail, Sultan of Johor.
After 67 years, this year it will begin a new chapter in the history of Johor state, when Johor State government will relocate to Nusajaya, Johor State New Administrative Center. It will be the end of the Sultan Ibrahim building as state government office but it will remain in the history of Johor.
As proud Johorean, born and grew up in Johor Bahru. I wish I were part of the transaction history between two state government offices.
